‘Total Agreement Concluded’ – Crystal Palace reaches transfer conclusion of €21m+ signing, player will sign contract ‘tomorrow’ as confirm on #CPFC tweet
It was made clear multiple times that signing the midfielder had been made a priority by Patrick Vieira this summer, and the Eagles were doing everything to accommodate his wishes.
That’s it, it appears that Crystal Palace are about to sign Cheick Doucouré from RC Lens after a few weeks of negotiations.
Dealing with Doucouré himself seemed fairly straightforward, but Lens, with no pressure to sell their player, took more convincing.
After a few failed attempts, it appears the latest offer was the right one for Crystal Palace, as journalist Saber Desfarges claims there is now a ‘total agreement’ between the two clubs for the midfielder’s transfer.
🔴🟡 Accord TOTAL trouvé entre Lens et Crystal Palace pour C. Doucouré!
Transfert de 26 millions d’euros (21 + 5 de bonus plus 15% à la revente si plus-value)

The deal will consist of a €21m fixed fee + €5m in bonuses, as well as 15% of any future profit, and the player will sign ‘tomorrow’ a five-year contract with the Eagles once the medical is done.
After a little bit of waiting, it appears patience really has paid off for Crystal Palace, who are about to get their main signing.
